The Hand of God

Known space has many delights more tangible than religious fervor, and many promises more lucrative than faith, yet religions still thrive. Among them, one has taken firmest root. The religion of the Titanians, who claim to be from the solar system that birthed the first life of the universe has more adherants than any other.

The tenets of the Church are few. Obey the word of the Titanian Prophet, strive for excellence and self-reliance, and worship no gods before the One God of Titan.

The Titanians are not all Churchers, and in fact, very few of them seem to be adherents to any sort of esoteric belief whatsoever. The large majority of Churchers are the disaffected and the poor, but the second commandment has led to a large popularity among military types of all sorts.
